WITH THE SUPERIOR GENERAL AND THE COUNCIL
The Delegates celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Star which has always had great significance in the three hundred year old history of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
In their respective linguistic groups, the Delegates shared their reflections with the Superior General, the Vicar General and with the General Council separately. The questions that were addressed to them were many and diverse in nature.
We have finished the 2nd Phase of the Chapter, which has been intense and full of pertinent questions. We have received abundant information and having completed the formal beginning that the Chapter constitution calls for, we begin the 3rd phase of the Chapter. Beginning tomorrow, we will have five days of discernment in order to reflect upon what God is asking of us at this time in our history. The work of the Chapter continues. At this point, we must dedicate ourselves to prayer and then make decisions.

OPINIONS
The atmosphere the capitulants feel.
How did the beginning of the Chapter go for you?
Francis MANNING Ireland
The atmosphere was very good, friendly, homely and fraternal. The beginning of the Chapter went well: very informative, and with a very professional approach. However, the timetable was over crowded. There was not enough time to relax, read and recreate. Even Saturday was not free. The chairs in Aula Magna are not comfortable enough for two hour sessions.
