Mindouli (Congo Brazzaville):
African update from SECOLI
from Br. Noel Bois
Since our November 10 posting, three Brothers have taken refuge in communities outside of the country. Br. Bernard
Collignon, Visitor, received the following message from the Bishop of Mindouli: "The carnage does not appear
to be letting up. I have asked the relatives of the seminarians to enroll their children in public schools in Brazzaville
until the situation improves."
Rwanda. The instability and violence continue to affect the Brothers and their families. The Brothers in Kivu are
quite concerned about the local situation. Many families are now refugees, having had their goods stolen and relatives
killed. |
