The Postulator General is the only person authorised to deal with the Holy See, in the name of the Institute, whenever the matter concerns the Causes of Saints for which he is responsible. The Postulator General is responsible for the relics of the Saints and the Blessed of the Institute authenticating their distribution and taking care that they are displayed in locales worthy of veneration. The Postulator General receives his obedience from the Superior General; it must be accepted and countersigned by the Congregation for the Causes of the Saints. The Postulator General reports directly to the Superior General and his Council. |
