Who We Are
The Lasallian Partners for the Economically Poor is a United States association of De La Salle Christian Brothers, Partners and Lasallian Volunteers. We work in programs involving economically disadvantaged youth and families who need educational or other empowering services.
It also includes other Lasallians who wish to learn more about these programs, who seek to encourage this work, or who wish to establish a new program. The Lasallian Partners share in community and ministerial support weaving a Lasallian Future energized by the Spirit of Faith.
Mission Statement
Rooted in John Baptist de la Salle's founding mission of educational service to the poor, the Lasallian Partners coordinate and share information and activities involving members and those entrusted to their care; advocate globally for justice and peace concerns; issue an invitation to others to experience Lasallian programs in service with the poor; and encourage any activities that build relationships to improve the lives of economically disadvantaged youth and families throughout the United States of America and the rest of the world.
