Program Description: St. Joseph School is a Kindergarten to 8th grade Elementary School with 105 students.
Population Served: Very low income; 92% Latino; 20% migrants
Geographical Area of Service: Rural Central Washington State
Gifts/Skills/Talents most needed: Teachers, teacher aides; enrichment teachers-music, art, drama, etc.
Age Minimum: 20 and up
Minimum/Maximum length of service: Negotiable
Housing Accommodations: TBA. Housing accommodations will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.
Benefits: Wonderful students! Room and Board could be negotiated, depending on the volunteers' length of stay.
Special Notes: Volunteers do not need to be Catholic. At the time of publication, St. Joe's is unable to accommodate immersion groups and married couples.
Orientation: An apostolic and community orientation will be provided upon arrival.
