Casa di Formazione, Distreto dell'America Centrale: Il 9
gennaio sono stato al Noviziato per la Vestizione del giovane boliviano
José Miguel, che lo ha cominciato proprio in questa data.
Vi presento quindi il gruppo dei Novizi.

Il giorno 7, l'équipe di Pastorale ha partecipato all'accoglienza dei
nuovi Postulanti nella Casa San Giuseppe. Il gruppo dei Postulanti è
formato da 2 panamensi, 5 nicaraguensi, un guatemalteco ed un onduregno.
Nella Casa San Giuseppe saranno quindi presenti: 9 Postulanti, 8
Prenovizi del I anno e 16 Prenovizi del II anno, provenienti da vari
Distretti: Peru, Bolivia e dell'America Centrale. Fr. Edgar Canaza, del
Distretto di Bolivia, si è unito alla Comunità Formativa, il giorno 22.

Bogota, Colombia - The Pre-Novitiate Program for 2004: The 2004
Pre-Novitiate group, made up of 10 young men and their formation staff,
Brother Januario Guerrero Perdomo, Sub-Director and Brother Carlos
Andrés Forero, Director, came together on January 15 in the third-year
postulancy house.
 The
first weeks were devoted to planning and then drawing up the Community
Annual Program (CAP) as well as revising and updating the Formation
Plan. The experience of this initial phase was carried out under the
house's motto: To live the Gospel in joy and simplicity," where the
encounter with God based on Scripture takes precedence in an environment
of austerity with participatory, responsible and committed planning.
Bogota, Colombia, Second-Year Postulancy: The second-year postulants
arrived on January 14. They were in charge of getting the San José de
Guausa house ready for the arrival of the 15 first-year postulants. This
induction for the new postulants culminated on Sunday, January 25, when
Brother Cristian James Díaz presented the document folders over to
Brother Alexander González. These folders contained the documents
relative to the process of the young men who will be entering the
Chapinero postulancy.
After the Eucharist, there was played a farewell match (won by the
second-year postulants) and a luncheon was held. After lunch, the
second-year postulants prepared to pack their luggage for the trip to
their new house.
Brothers Jorge and Alexander received the postulants in Chapinero at
around 7:00 PM. The welcoming process took place within a festive
atmosphere as preparations were made for the second-year postulancy
program. The formation staff was to receive a new member in Brother
Rafael Duarte in a few days. Also, the Director, Brother José Alexander
Santafé, who was completing the CIL Program in Rome, was expected to
arrive shortly.

L'Unione Catechisti di Gesù Crocifisso e di Maria Immacolata,
Istituto Secolare fondato a Torino (Italia) dal Ven.Fratel Teodoreto
delle S.C., "associata intenzionale" all'Istituto, in dicembre 03 e
gennaio 04 ha svolto la sua Assemblea generale, a cui ha partecipato
anche il Consigliere generale H. Juan Pablo Martin Duenas, in qualità di
Assessore Generale. Erano presenti anche i Catechisti del Perù delle
Fraternità di Arequipa e di Nana-Lima, e per la prima volta, una
Catechista Consacrata in rappresentanza del gruppo nascente e una coppia
di Sposi Catechisti. L'Assemblea si è riunita per approvare il testo
definitivo delle Costituzioni rinnovate, dopo il quinquennio di
sperimentazione, e per procedere alla elezione dei nuovi responsabili
dell'Istituto. Sono stati eletti : Presidente dell'Unione, il Catechista
LEANDRO PIERBATTISTI e membri del Consiglio generale, Marco Bilewski
(Vice Presidente) - David Sevillano Pacheco di Arequipa - Leonardo
Rollino. Una delle prime attività del Consiglio è stata la costituzione
di una Commissione mista Fratelli-Catechisti,d'intesa con il Provinciale
Fr. Donato Petti, incaricata di programmare la commemorazione del 50° della morte del Fondatore Fr. Teodoreto (1871 - 1954).
