On Friday 10 March, the Young Lasallians team paid a visit to James Sheahan Catholic High School in Orange, New South Wales to welcome Year 7 into the vibrant Lasallian community.
Attended by 187 students and 53 Lasallian Youth Leaders, the theme was focused on ‘building community’ and the significance of belonging to a Lasallian community that spans worldwide.
“Welcome to the family. You all just inherited over a million brothers and sisters from around the globe,” said Young Lasallian team member, Philippe Dulawan.
The Year 7 Retreat was facilitated and led by Youth Minister Coordinator for the Young Lasallian team, Philippe Dulawan and Youth Minister, Sebastian Duhau.
The Year 11 Lasallian Youth Leaders were instrumental in assisting the team in delivering yet another successful retreat.
Phillippe has an extensive background in parish-based youth ministry and Sebastian graduated from St Andrew’s Catholic College, Marayong.
