We are happy to welcome Brother Téfio Raoul Traoré, who has been appointed by the Superior General to the position of Associate Director – Solidarity and Development in the Secretariat for Solidarity and Development and in Onlus the De La Salle Foundation for International Solidarity.
Brother Raoul is a native of Burkina Faso. He made his first vows in June 2009 and his perpetual profession in September 2016. In 2012, he graduated with the licenciate in Education and Formation in the CELAF Institute.
After teaching French and History in Diebougou and Kongoussi (BF), Brother Raul took on the role of Secretary and Assistant Bursar of the District of West Africa and became responsible for managing the projects of the District.
In 2017 and 2018, Brother Raoul increased his skills by studying for a Masters Degree in Management and Enterprise and a Masters in Project Management in the Campus La Salle Barcelona, Universitat Ramon Llull.
His professional profile will, therefore, enable him to make a big contribution to the work of the Secretariat which supports Lasallians, Brothers and Partners, dedicated to the defence of the rights of children and young people at risk throughout the world and to the promotion of their access to quality education.
