Chile – Session for Young Lasallian Leaders

Chile – Session for Young Lasallian Leaders

From April the 24th to the 27th, a session took place in Constitución, Chile, for Young Lasallian Leaders of the first stage (entitled ‘Llamados/Called’). The theme for the meeting was: “Lasallian Leaders, we grow as a fraternity in faith to be ready to serve”.

The principal goal of the session was to train young people to assume roles in pastoral leadership in their educational communities. In communities comprising young people from different establishments, they share their faith, their life experiences and their service. The session served to strengthen their identity as young lasallians, by getting to know the story of St Jean-Baptiste de La Salle and by carrying out social activities. In addition they made a commitment to implement the project they had developed among themselves, when they return to their local situations.

The young people came from the seven establishments in Chile:

  • Colegio de La Salle – Talca
  • Colegio de La Salle – La Reina
  • Colegio San Gregorio de La Salle
  • Colegio de La Salle – Temuco
  • Instituto La Salle
  • Escuela Francia
  • Escuela San Lázaro

We would like to thank the Pastoral Ministry Coordinators for their dedication and their efforts. The heads of establishments for their trust and support, the Brothers for their commitment to the mission and the young people who had committed themselves to experiencing this process of growth in their leadership.

Live Jesus in our hearts! For ever.
