In recent days, Brother Robert Schieler, F.S.C, Superior General, has appointed Brother Ricky Laguda, F.S.C, as India’s delegate for a period from July 10, 2019 to June 30, 2021. For its best animation and administration our Institute is organized by regions, districts, sub-districts and delegations.
“A delegation is a grouping of communities which, for practical or provisional reasons, cannot form a district or sub-district. It remains under directly dependent on the Brother Superior General.”
(Rule of the Brothers 134).
The Institute currently has three delegations: Belgium-North, India and Rwanda.
Brother Angel Ricardo Laguda, FSC, or known to all under the pseudonym Brother Ricky, was born in 1969 in Bacolod City, Philippines. He completed his training in Manila and Lipa and took his final vows in 1999. He holds a degree in philosophy, a master’s degree in education, religious education and a doctorate in education.
He has developed his ministry of education in various educational institutions in his country, including the direction of the University of La Salle in Manila. He is currently General Councilor for the PARC region (Conference of the Asia-Pacific Region), which he will continue to exercise until the next General Chapter in 2021.
