Many pupils had got to know one another during the holidays and made friends in the locality. The shop-keepers of the area were pleased to have new customers.
After the bell had rung, the Director, H. Lanès ESCARMENT, welcomed the pupils and gave them the instructions needed so that things could start.
The flag was raised and all the teachers, Brothers and lay people, joined in reciting the Prayer of the Teacher before School.
Four weeks of teaching have now taken place, and the pupils are glad that a De La Salle school has arrived in the locality. Social and economic life is still disrupted, but here at least things are going smoothly.
