The District of Argentina Paraguay has decided to start training its Lasallians in the Community for Lasallian studies in Madrid, and two teachers have been chosen for the current session, namely Manuel Rocha (Instituto La Salle Florida) and Leila Rebersberger (Instituto La Salle San Martín).
The Community for Lasallian Studies (CEL) is for Lay Lasallians, Guadalupana Sisters and De La Salle Brothers, who all live together for a period of three and a half months, sharing life, faith and formation.
From September to December, Leila and Manuel participated in the Programa Superior on Lasallian Identity, a programme of the De La Salle University Centre for Higher Studies in Aravaca, Madrid.
During the first week of the programme, the members of the new community have to draw up their Community Project for the whole time of formation which they will spend together.
The programme also presupposes the realisation of a personal synthesis, based on what will be heard, shared, experienced and read in each of the modules that will be covered.
We are happy to wish both of them well and to hope that the session will be a beautiful transforming experience for them. We eagerly look forward to their return, so that they can share within our District all that they have gone through.
