Appointment of the Brother Auxiliary Visitor of the Lwanga District

Brother Armin Luistro, Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, has appointed Brother Moses Abunya Auxiliary Visitor for the District of Lwanga. His mandate will last four years, working alongside Brother Betre Fisseha, Visitor of the District, from 10 July 2026 to 30 June 2030.

Brother Akpoughul-Abunya Msughter Moses is originally from Naka, local government of Gwer West, Benue State, Nigeria. He joined the Brothers in 1995 and took perpetual vows on 29 October 2005.

From 2005 to 2011 he was Rector of St Peter’s Seminary in Yola, Nigeria. The Brother was the pioneer representative of Africa in the International Council of Young Lasallians, for four years. 

He holds the title of Educational Leader in the Master of Education programme. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from St Mary’s University in Minnesota, USA. He holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee, USA, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Lewis University.
