Brother Robert Schieler, FSC, Superior General, has appointed Brother Fabián Maragliano, FSC, as the new Visitor of the District of Argentina-Paraguay for a period of four years (2021-2024).

Brother Fabián was born in Rosario, Argentina, on February 5, 1966. He was a student at Colegio La Salle in Rosario; he made his first religious profession on December 8, 1986 in Córdoba and his perpetual vows on May 28, 1993 in Parana. He is a catechist, a Primary school teacher, a coach in the Instrumental Enrichment Programme (PEI in Spanish), trained in Israel; he studied Educational Sciences at the National University of Lomas in Zamora.

In his career in the Lasallian Educational Mission, he has been a teacher, catechist, professor, deputy-principal, principal, legal representative, director general, in the De La Salle Schools in Paraná, González Catán, Florida, Buenos Aires and Argüello, where he is serving as Director General at the time of his appointment.

In the Brothers’ Community, he was Community Director in González Catán, Buenos Aires and in the Community of Senior Brothers. He was also District Bursar for ten years between 2001 and 2012.

In his Communication, Brother Martín Digilio, who has led and accompanied the Lasallian Community of Argentina-Paraguay since 2013, thanked Brother Fabián for his readiness to take over this ministry that the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools has entrusted to him, and invited all to pray that God will bestow him with His grace to lead this work.
