Dear Lasallian
I am delighted to announce that our new District website is being officially launched on Saturday May 15th, to coincide with our Founder’s Day.
The development of this new website was one of the key goals of our recently established communications office and will play an important role in sustaining the Lasallian Educational Mission within the District. Therefore, it gives me great pleasure to see the site going live on this special day.
A great deal of work has gone into this project over the past number of months by a dedicated committee whose members represented all the interests of our District, and I am delighted to see that their efforts have paid off.
The aim at the outset was to create a website that caters for all sections of the District including, Communities, Schools, Pastoral Centres, Volunteers, committees etc, and one that provides a continuous flow of information to reflect a busy and vibrant Lasallian Family.
The new website also reflects on our Founder, the importance of our history, and our position as part of a global Lasallian network. Among the features are a Prayer Request section, an events calendar, Lasallian resources and our Newsletter archive along with a regularly updated news section.
I encourage all Lasallians to use this website on a regular basis to keep up-to-date with all events in our District.
