Easter 2021

May the God of hope bring you such joy and peace in your faith
that the power of the Holy Spirit will remove all bounds to hope.
Romans 15:13

In 2019, Brothers and Lasallians participated in a private audience with Pope Francis. In his remarks, the Holy Father called on us to create a “culture of resurrection”.  He asked us to “restore life to areas where poverty and suffering have taken away the hope of a future”.  Francis’ words have become especially significant as we respond to the global health crisis.

My Easter wish for each of you – Brothers, Partners, Students, and members of the Lasallian Family – is that we rise from the cross of the pandemic, transformed to new life, to a new Pentecost with renewed purpose, responding creatively and enthusiastically to the challenges we are facing in our pandemic-stricken world.

May your responses ease the anxieties of our suffering sisters and brothers, especially those who are poor. And may you be happy witnesses to the Holy Spirit-inspired hope that fills our hearts with joy.

Happy Easter!
