* The Procurator General is the legal and canonical representative of the Congregation to the Holy See. Unlike the Postulator, who deals with a specific area (the causes of saints), the Procurator has a broader and more diverse role, which we could define as the “management of legal and diplomatic relations” with the Vatican, in terms of relations with the Holy See, legal advice and handling of bureaucratic and legal matters.
