Escribir para chicos y chicas <\/em><\/strong>by Florencia Gattari* has been awarded for the best theoretical production of the year 2025. The book was awarded by ALIJA, the recognised association of children&#8217;s and young people&#8217;s literature in Argentina, as one of the best books for children and young people.<\/p>\n<p>ALIJA is a member of the <em>International Board on Books for Young People <\/em>(IBBY) and works intensively for the international dissemination of Argentinian books, authors and illustrators.<\/p>\n<p>It is also responsible, every two years, for selecting the author and illustrator who compete for Argentina&#8217;s Hans Christian Andersen Award (the world&#8217;s most important award in the field of children&#8217;s and young people&#8217;s books).<\/p>\n<p>The prize, for the best theoretical production, is awarded by a multidisciplinary and federal jury, which is renewed annually, was presented on Thursday 8 May at the International Book Fair in Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>The District of Argentina-Paraguay congratulates the author, and the entire editorial team of <em>La Cruj\u00eda<\/em>, which, by publishing within the District, continues to make a valuable contribution to its educational network.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:15px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single sep-solid\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;border-color:#e0dede;border-top-width:1px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\" style=\"--awb-font-size:14px;\"><p>* Florencia Gattari is a writer who holds a Degree in Psychology from the University of Buenos Aires. In 2007, she was awarded with the <em>El Barco de Vapor<\/em> prize and started publishing short stories and novels in Argentina, other Latin American countries and Spain. These include <em>Vestido nuevo<\/em>, <em>Nadar perrito <\/em>and <em>Historia de un pul\u00f3ver azul<\/em>, for which he won the Destacado Prize de Alija and a mention at the National Awards. He wrote the screenplay for the documentary <em>Vicenta <\/em>and the family chronicle <em>Tan temprano<\/em>.
