\"\"On 29 June 2025, three Brothers of the Christian Schools made their perpetual profession to coincide with the feast of Saints Peter and Paul. The profession marks a lifelong commitment to the vows of association for the service of the poor through education, stability in the Institute, obedience, chastity and poverty. The ceremony took place at De La Salle Academy in Yangon.<\/p>\n

Brothers Augustine Nay Lin Oo FSC, Justine Nge Bo FSC and Lucas Ah Do FSC <\/strong>before the altar and the gathered community professed their commitment “for all their life” as De La Salle Brothers, sealing a promise they have cultivated through years of discernment, formation and faithful service.<\/p>\n

The celebration brought together Brothers from different communities, as well as members of many religious congregations, families, students and friends. The highlight for the professed was when the three young men, before their Brother Visitor, Jos\u00e9 Mari Jim\u00e9nez, Brother Auxiliary Visitor, I\u00f1igo Riola, and those present, declared with conviction: “I promise to keep these vows faithfully all my life”.<\/p>\n

The choice of 29 June as the date for the celebration of the vows had a deep symbolic meaning. St. Peter and St. Paul are known as pillars of the Church, having given their lives entirely to the service of the Gospel. And like them, likewise, the three Brothers have been called to be pillars of faith and hope for their communities, especially in the mission of providing a human and Christian education to young people, especially the poor and suffering, in the midst of the continuing conflicts in their country.<\/p>\n

At the end of the celebration, the three Brothers expressed their sincere gratitude to all those who attended this special occasion. “A sign of the vitality of the Lasallian Mission in the Myanmar Sector and in the Lasallian District of East Asia,” said Brother Augustine Nay Lin Oo, one of the professed Brothers.<\/p>\n<\/div>
