The<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>1 La Salle<\/span><\/i> International Collaborative Performance<\/span><\/i>\u00a0was\u00a0created by students from <\/span>La Salle Academy<\/span><\/i> Iligan, Philippines, and the <\/span>Hakodate La Salle Junior High School<\/span><\/i>, Japan, as an\u00a0expression of their <\/span>1<\/span><\/i> La Salle<\/span><\/i> spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The project was started in April 2025. By June, teachers from both Lasallian <\/span>schools<\/span> began meeting online to plan. Young Lasallians from both schools spent the next two months working together to prepare for the show.<\/span><\/p>\n

Through video conferencing, the <\/span>Sinag Tala Culture<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Arts Artists<\/span><\/i> of <\/span>La Salle Academy<\/span><\/i> and the first-year students of <\/span>Hakodate La Salle<\/span><\/i> worked together and overcame distance and borders to unite their hearts into the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

The final performance was done during the final of the <\/span>Hakodate La Salle School Festival<\/span><\/i> last 19 July 2025. It deeply moved the audience and was awarded the Grand Prize of the school festival. Br. Antonio Cubillas, FSC, principal of <\/span>Kagoshima La Salle<\/span><\/i>, also sent a heartfelt message to both schools in support of the collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project <\/span>is the start<\/span> of a deeper and lasting connection between the two Lasallian institutions, and they look forward to more opportunities for cross-border collaborations in LEAD (Lasallian East Asia District).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>
