“Amubri”<\/b><\/a> is the title of the audio-visual produced by Brother \u00c1lvaro L\u00f3pez Falc\u00f3n<\/b>, from the Arlep District (La Salle in Spain and Portugal), during his time with this missionary work of the Brothers of the Christian Schools of the District of Central America-Panama.<\/span><\/p>\n

The 10-minute short film is available on the <\/span>LaSalleOrg YouTube channel<\/span><\/a> and recounts the history and experience of some Brothers, such as Brother \u00c1lvaro Rodr\u00edguez Echeverr\u00eda, former Superior General of the Institute, together with several Lasallian partners committed to this <\/span>Leavening <\/i><\/b>Work among the indigenous peoples of Costa Rica<\/b>. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

In the Peripheries<\/b><\/h2><\/div>

Indeed, at \u201cCasa La Salle\u201d in the parish of Santiago Ap\u00f3stol in Amubri, located in the Costa Rican Diocese of Lim\u00f3n, the Lasallian commitment to the peripheries is lived out <\/span>alongside indigenous peoples and in communion with the local Church<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this sense, the audio-visual work of Brother \u00c1lvaro, who has also been developing several initiatives as <\/span>a digital missionary<\/span><\/a> through his Instagram account <\/span>@hermaestro<\/span><\/a>, brings us closer to the origins and mission of the Brothers in this region of the Talamanca mountain range, where most of <\/span>the population belongs to the indigenous communities of the Br\u00edbri and Cabrecar ethnic groups<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
