On October 1,\n2019, the Superior General appointed Br. Artur Skoczek as the new Visitor of\nthe District of Poland for a period of three years from October 1, 2019 to\nSeptember 30, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Br. Artur Skoczek was born in Kolbuszowa in 1963 (Podkarpackie province). He joined the Congregation in 1985, after taking his religious vows he worked as a teacher at the Cz\u0119stochowa Special Educational Centre and then for five years as the Director of this institution.\u00a0 He served as a catechist for six years in the secondary schools of Warsaw, and for five years, was catechist and Director of the Brothers\u2019 community in Lublin.\u00a0 In addition, for the past 10 years, he has been the Director of the social welfare house for severely disabled youth run by the Congregation in Przytocko. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He holds master’s\ndegrees in educational pedagogy (University of Rzesz\u00f3w), philosophy (University\nof Warsaw), education management (Lublin), social security management\n(University of Kazimierz Wielki in Bydgoszcz), and as a personal data\nprotection inspector (Toru\u0144 High School).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Poland, there are currently 11 communities<\/strong> and 11 works<\/strong>, including centres for the mentally disabled<\/strong>. The educational mission is carried out by 50 Brothers<\/strong> for a total of 3,348 students<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
