This year, Scholas Occurrentes<\/em>, also known as the Pope’s School, has 74 representatives from all the Lasallian schools in Brazil and Chile, countries belonging to the District of La Salle Brazil-Chile. With the participation of students from all over the world, the project seeks to create a culture of encounter, bringing young people closer to an education that generates meaning, discussing online and suggesting concrete solutions to the socio-cultural problems that exist in the world. The issues addressed by the students are aimed at transforming themselves and the environment in which they live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We know that it is possible to reinvent the current situation. Therefore, we need people committed to disseminating socio-cultural transformations and, above all, ready for the increasing insertion of digital technologies in everyday life; this way we can promote the values of coexistence and citizen participation in order to achieve an integrated and peaceful world”, explained Brother Taylon de Amorin Torres, coordinator of Pastoral Ministry at Colegio La Salle Toledo\/PR, on the importance of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
