World Youth Day*<\/strong>, often referred to as WYD<\/strong>, is an international gathering of Catholic youth focused on spirituality<\/a> and culture<\/a>, promoted by the Catholic Church<\/a> at the initiative of the Pope<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It is a tradition that, taking advantage of the presence of so many Lasallians at the celebration of the Catholic youth worldwide, they come together to share the joy of fraternity. In past editions of the WYD, such as those held in Madrid (2011), Rio de Janeiro (2013), Krakow (2016) and Panama City (2019), interesting events took place and the one in Lisbon will be no exception!<\/p>\n

Under the leadership of\u00a0 Salle Joven Arlep (Young Lasallian Movement of Spain and Portugal) and with the support of Young Lasallians (Rome), Young Lasallians from all over the world are invited to participate in the WORLD GATHERING OF YOUNG LASALLIANS – WYD 2023, who will meet in Lisbon and will be accompanied by Brother Superior General and some members of the General Council.<\/p>\n<\/div>
