Vatican City, Rome, Frascati, 22-23-24 March 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>

The Lasallian Library, in collaboration with the Vatican Apostolic Library and the Academy Vivarium Novum,<\/em> will host the second day of the IFLA <\/strong>Midterm Meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Meeting, which will take place over three days, <\/strong>will be held on Friday 22 March <\/strong>in the Vatican City (Vatican Apostolic Library), on Saturday 23 March <\/strong>at the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools <\/strong>(Via Aurelia 476, Rome), in the Lasallian Libraries, Museums and Archives, and on Sunday 24 March <\/strong>in Frascati, at the Academy Vivarium Novum <\/em>(Villa Falconieri).<\/p>\n

The Midterm Meeting programme aims to provide participants with a qualified professional development opportunity, and professional library visits and networking.<\/p>\n

The days will be divided as follows:<\/p>\n<\/div>

22 March 2024 – Vatican Library (Vatican City)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Digital preservation and a sustainable future<\/strong><\/p>\n

This day seeks to bring together researchers and practitioners, teachers, librarians, students and representatives of library associations to focus on the challenges of sustainable digital preservation and reuse.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>

23 March 2024 – Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools (Rome)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Research methods in library and information sciences studies as well as education<\/strong><\/p>\n

This day will focus on innovative research methods and sharing experiences on education for research methods. There will also be three sessions (LIS journal publication; LIS research poster session; SDGs impact workshop), followed by IFLA hybrid working meetings.<\/em><\/p>\n

The IFLA Relindial Cartonera<\/strong><\/a> project will also be on display in the exhibition space of the La Salle Museum Rome <\/a><\/p>\n

For the whole duration of the IFLA Midterm Meeting, the exhibition “Contemporary Stories: Collection of Artists’ Books”<\/strong>, curated by Prof. Anna Cochetti and kindly made available by \u201cGalleria Storie Contemporanee\u201d, will be available in the exhibition area of the Lasallian Library.<\/p>\n<\/div>
