It is with joy and gratitude that we celebrate the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of St. John Baptist de La Salle as Universal Patron of Educators by Pope Pius XII on May 15, 1950.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary, the Office of Lasallian Heritage and Research has prepared an exhibition at the Generalate, which traces the historical process that led to the proclamation of De La Salle as Patron Saint of Educators, as well as other symbolic and representative events.
