Institute Investment Committee

This Committee seeks to “ensure that the Institute’s practices are consistent with established policies” on investments, offering recommendations or changes when deemed necessary. It is ruled by government laws on fiduciary responsibility and is responsible for determining the specific criteria for allocating investments across various asset classes, with the prudence that this implies and in accordance with the proposed objectives.

The Committee is also responsible for developing investment policies and guidelines for each portfolio, taking into account Catholic social teaching, long-term capital market prospects, risk tolerance, future cash flow requirements, and tax implications.
