Madagascar – Entrance Rite for five young Postulants
… admitted to the first year at Saint Miguel Postulancy – Soavimbahoaka
On Friday, October 15, 2021, at 5:30 p.m., was celebrated the official Mass for the nine postulants. Five will be in their first year and four in their second year, at the community of Saint Miguel de Soavimbahoaka. During this celebration, crucifixes were given by Brother Julien Ratsimbazafy, FSC, Visitor to the five first year postulants, as a sign of their first response to God’s call in the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
Postulants from the Guadalupana Sisters of De La Salle accompanied by their two formative Sisters honored this event. The vocation promoter in the District of Madagascar, plus some Brothers and three of the Brother Visitor’s advisors were present for this rite of entry into the postulancy of our five young people.
The Mass was followed by a fraternal meal shared with the guests. Words of thanks were addressed to the former Brother Visitor and the national vocation recruiter for their efforts. Words of thanks were also addressed to our young people for their yes to the first steps in initial formation in our Institution. Thus, we wish them good formation and good discovery of our Lasallian heritage in the house of formation.
