During the month of November, and at our Generalate, two important meetings have taken place within the context of “Tutti Fratelli”, that is, among the different Institutes of Brothers:
1st “General Assembly TUTTI FRATELLI 2021”
On Saturday, November 27, from 3:30 to 8:00 pm., was held at the Generalate of the Brothers of the Christian Schools a new “Tutti Fratelli” meeting, as an occasion for fraternal encounter and formation. The pandemic interrupted the dynamics that, for some years, we have been carrying out in the Institutes of Brothers.
After the reception, following the current sanitary measures, the 70 participants, including 9 Superiors General, were welcomed by Brother Robert Schieler, Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools.
Once all the participants had introduced themselves, Sister Ana Damas took the floor to develop the theme of interculturality and to answer some questions from the assembly.
During the break, each participant received a small souvenir gift.
The meeting continued with a prayer service at the Sanctuary of St. John Baptist de La Salle, where we renewed our baptismal promises and prayed for the needs of the world, of the mission and of all the People of God. The needs of our world and the mission of the Church were the highlights of this prayer, which closed the General Assembly TUTTI FRATELLI 2021.
2nd “Meeting of Superiors General and General Councils”
On December 1, a meeting took place in our Generalate between the Brothers Superiors General and General Councillors present in Rome of the Marist Brothers (FMS), the Christian Brothers (CFC) and the Brothers of the Christian Schools (FSC). It was an afternoon for sharing fraternity, new projects, challenges and hopes. It was an informal moment to continue journeying together as brothers in the spirit of “Tutti Fratelli”.
