Appointed by the Superior General of the Brothers of the Christian Schools for a period of three years, the Standing Committee of Young Brothers assumes the tasks mandated  by the 46th General Chapter, as well as the proposals emanating from the II International Young Brothers Assembly (II IYBA). 

There are five members of the Committee, one from each Region of the Institute.
