The Postulator General’s task is to handle matters concerning the raising to the altars of those within the Institute who died with a reputation for sanctity and the preparation of the documents and follow-up of their Causes in order to receive approval for their worship.
Our Founder Saint John Baptist de La Salle
Saint John Baptist de La Salle is the founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Patron of Christian Teachers. He was born at Reims, France April 30, 1651, ordained priest April 9, 1678, and died April 7, 1719.
